The Second Colombian Congress of Bioacoustics and Ecoacoustics (2CCBE) will take place from 18-22 November 2024, at the incredible Parque Explora. The event represents a significant opportunity for the scientific community, as well as the arts and culture sectors dedicated to the study, understanding, and appropriation of bioacoustics and ecoacoustics; this will be a space to share knowledge, exchange ideas, continue interdisciplinary synergies and collaborations. The congress will create a scenario of interaction, facilitated by keynote lectures, symposiums, workshops, courses, colloquiums, performative acts, interactive experiences, among others, to advance scientific and artistic fields, integrating academia and society. For five days, Medellín will become a phonetic epicenter, and this intentional sonority will seek to democratize access to knowledge through the sonic universe.
Attendants can propose various activities such as symposiums, workshops, pre-congress mini-courses, talks, and colloquiums within the framework of the general themes of our event.
