WILDLABS, Smithonian's Movement of Life Initiative, and NASA JPL invite you to join us for two side events on wildlife data and technology at the World Biodiversity Forum in Davos this June. RSVP using the link below!

With the theme From Sci­ence to Ac­tion, the third World Biodiversity Forum (WBF) is an ideal setting to discuss how we can more effectively leverage wildlife technologies and data to bridge science-policy gaps and meet global conservation goals. To take advantage of this opportunity to connect, we are pleased to invite you to two side events exploring these themes: 

Social: Conservation Data & Technology
  • About: Casual drinks and conversation around advancing data and technologies to meet biodiversity conservation goals. 
  • Date: Monday, 17 June 2024 
  • Time: 7:00pm (following the Apéro event at the Congress Centre) 
  • Location: Local bar (exact location TBC)
Meeting: Leveraging Animal Movement Data to Advance Global Biodiversity Conservation 
  • About: A meeting to discuss a new collaborative effort to unlock the potential of animal movement data as a critical source of insights for global biodiversity conservation and policy by improving information pipelines that bridge the science-policy gap. 
  • Date: Wednesday, June 19 2024 
  • Time: 1:30-2:30pm 
  • Location: Davos Congress Centre
