My name is Gina. I'm currently working on my Bachelor's Thesis and would like some feedback on my final concept. It is a design for new technology to collect biodiversity data in offshore wind parks.

Preferably, by experts in collecting Biodiversity data, more specifically someone in the Marine sector, but anybody who works with collecting biodiversity would be greatly appreciated! 

My questions are as follows:

QUESTION 

1. Is there a need or interest in gaining a deeper understanding of how offshore wind farms impact biodiversity?
2. Could increased knowledge of biodiversity impacts help support the development of offshore wind farms, or could it provide grounds for greater opposition?

I'm more than happy to set up a short interview of roughly 10 minutes to discuss things further and show my design. If not answers to these two questions will help me greatly.
