Overview  

Sox-o-matic is a graphical user interface for using Sound eXchange (Sox) for processing and converting audio files. It was developed by the Center for Conservation Bioacoustics, part of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Sox is a powerful command line tool, but in order to use it for batch processing large data sets some command-line-fu is needed. Sox-o-matic provides a clean user interface for some of the common basic operations, and allows users to easily process huge file sets stored in nested folder hierarchies.
