The ABMI is a non-profit, value-neutral biodiversity and land cover monitoring organization in Alberta, Canada. We have over 15 years of data freely available for use and download by anyone for any purpose.

Overview  

The ABMI tracks changes in Alberta's wildlife and their habitats from border to border, and provides ongoing, relevant, scientifically credible information on Alberta's living resources. All data is made freely available online for anyone to download and use! 

Since 2007, the ABMI has been monitoring biodiversity at sites across the entire province of Alberta. In 2013, the organization established its Geospatial Centre, focused on monitoring landscapes and "human footprint". Explore some of the many datasets available on the ABMI's Mapping Portal or Biodiversity Browser
